WWII WW2 Battlefield Found Relic JAPANESE Helmet with Star
The was an estate find. Part of a larger purchase
I do not know what model helmet this is, nor in which  branch of the military used it.
Helmet has a cloth (Canvas) liner that is in remarkably good shape
The bottom edge of the helmet has a flare to it. More so than other Japanese helmets I have seen
In addition, the metal edge of the bottom of the helmet, is a raw edge , not rolled.
